Tucson, Ariz., Survey Tries to Identify Workers' Aging Issues.

Oct. 3--Workers caring for elderly parents or worried about their own retirement plans face distractions on the job that may hurt productivity, workplace experts say.

Their employers' response to these issues may make the difference between keeping valued workers or losing them. But many employers are unaware of aging issues or unsure how to deal with them, said Jim Murphy, corporate relations director for the Pima Council on Aging.
